7/21/2025 Around 80% of us are in the political middle according to bell curve analysis. Some of are “true middle”, while others lean left or lean right. If we go to a local tavern, we can sit around a bar and discuss news events without ripping each other’s throats out. It’s hard for most people to fathom that American elections can be rigged, but the evidence has been there since 2000, especially with the advent of electronic voting machines. In 2004, Athan Gibbs created TruVote, a machine which was electronic, but it had a verifiable paper trail. He died an untimely death the week before he was set to present his invention. Though Hillary Clinton initially conceded the 2016 election, she later said in 2019 that Donald Trump was not a legitimate president. The same Washington Post article reported that Jimmy Carter agreed. And we all know what happened on January 6, 2021. “RIGGED!!!” Donald Trump’s goons stormed the Capitol on the pretense that they actually won the November election. They tried to block the certification. So we have people who have lived in the White House telling us that we can’t trust the elections. We have data analysis telling us we can’t trust elections. We have multiple solid documentaries telling us we can’t trust elections. The 80% of us in the middle still want democracy. It’s the crazy extremists on the far left, and the far right who don’t want it. Donald Trump is a fascist, and he fights daily with his perceived Communist foes on the far left. It happens in front of our eyes, and now Donald Trump wants to jail Barack Obama. It’s sad to watch naive people in the 80% middle thinking we’ll ever have free and fair elections again. Each side thinks they can permanently win. The Democrats might win the House majority in 2026 because of how badly Trump has been affected by the Epstein debacle. Then again, who is controlling the voting machines? You would think that America, of all places, would’ve figured out a way to project trust into our system, but it’s getting worse. Not better. If there is an answer, it needs to come in across-the-board standards. It was famously said that toasters have more federal regulations than voting machines. If we are to continue with an electronic method, we need a verifiable paper trail. Current machines are hackable. It’s not just one side or the other who believes this. Every day, we watch Ralph Wolf and Sam Sheepdog go at it. It would be funny if it wasn’t so tragic …
