Welcome to the New Party,
A week ago, I started this “third party” page. It happened because I believed Elon Musk was getting serious about launching the new America party. He said he would do it if Congress passed the so-called Big Beautiful Bill. Well, they did it, then it was signed. Our debt will be increased by $4 trillion because of this reckless piece of legislation. When I was younger, I studied Immanuel Kant, Jeremny Bentham, and John Stuart Mill. These are a few of the greatest minds in ethics. Immanuel Kant preached deontology. This means the act of something is right or wrong.
Let’s suppose you have a starving child at home. You have no money, and you can’t get a job no matter how hard you try. You head to a local grocery store to beg for help. You see an affluent woman putting groceries into the trunk of her brand new BMW. She leaves the trunk wide open as she leaves her car to put away her shopping cart. You notice she has multiple loaves of bread, and you’re in position to take one. You’re sure she wouldn’t even notice if it was gone. You decide it’s best to take a loaf of bread, and take it home to your starving child.
In the world of Immanuel Kant, this is wrong. It doesn’t matter what the circumstance is. Stealing is stealing, and it is wrong. It’s unethical. However, Jeremy Bentham and John Stuart Mill teach that the “greater good” is what matters. What action delivers the most happiness for the most amount of people? If the lady with the BMW doesn’t ever know a loaf of bread was missing, what is the harm?
I support the America party. I’m a third-party type of person, and I’ve been this way for years. I believe the traditional two-party system is broken and corrupt. I believe the ACT of creating this party is honorable. I have a few anecdotes, and I’ll get to them.
There was a story going around at Maniac Nebula a few years ago. Somebody was reflecting on his youth. Sesame Street was a popular educational program for children, but it wasn’t the only one on PBS mornings. There was a show called the Electric Company. There was a skit set in the Old West where a mean, dastardly old cowboy Bully ate all of the town’s spaghetti. The folks in the town did not like this because there was never enough left for them, so they found an Outsider. This outsider was also able to eat loads of spaghetti with no problem. If this story was modernized, we could imagine the hot dog eating contests, but I digress. The folks of the town had the Outsider challenge the Bully. Whoever ate more spaghetti was the winner, and the loser had to leave town. Sure enough, the Outsider won and the Bully left in disgrace. The town celebrated until they realized the Outsider wasn’t going to leave. Now they had a bigger problem than before because the Outsider demanded more spaghetti than the Bully he replaced.
This story has gone around a few times, so I’m sure it’s changed a little here and there. Nonetheless, the anecdote of it is good enough. America was fine with a reality show host becoming president because he replaced an Establishment figure they wanted no part of. In doing so, they created a Frankenstein. They created a bigger monster than the one they previously avoided.
When I write about my family and others in my personal life, I’m careful to change names and identities. This is something we do in general at Maniac Nebula. However, it’s free rein to name celebrities and popular podcasters. Even then, I take discretion. Right now, I’ll be specific. I get my news sources from multiple places. I get them from TV and the internet. I get them from the left and right. There is a lot of resistence to the America party, and I can understand why. I want to emphasize that this site is Never Trump Blog. It has one objective, and one mantra. Let’s get Donald Trump out of power as soon as possible. Let’s make sure he doesn’t pop up like Jason Vorhees and start terrorizing people, even after we thought he was down for the count. There are multiple issues with Elon Musk, but I’m treating him like the Outsider from the Old West. The Bully, in this case, is Donald Trump, and he’s got to go. We’ve had enough of him, and if the Outsider is worse, we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it.
I’m a fan of Adam Mockler. He’s a young podcaster, and he detests Donald Trump. So far, so good. At Never Trump Blog, we like this. Since Elon Musk floated the idea of the America party, it’s clear that Adam Mockler has ire for Elon Musk as well. He has criticized his drug use and his destruction of USAid. Yeah, I mentioned that I follow the ethics of Immanuel Kant at times, but not so much here. Why? It’s a pick your poison situation. There are two bad choices, three if you count whoever the Democrats put forward. I don’t want people to get me wrong about the Democrats, by the way. I think there’s a few that mean well. They don’t have the backbones to rule, though. At least not for long. The strongest Democrat this past generation was Barack Obama. He was awarded a Nobel Peace Prize, but he later engaged in Neocon drone strikes. There was talk about taking his award away from him. First and foremost, our goal at this site is to make sure Donald Trump is not able to run for a third term. He has said he wants to be president for life. Let’s not allow that to happen. If you can’t stand Elon Musk, are you pretending Donald Trump is better? I’m not sure anyone believes this, including Melania.
I’m a fan of Kim Iversen. She leans right with many of her issues, and she’s an America first person. She’s not happy with Trump’s recent foreign policy decisions, and she’s not happy with the recent budget bill. I LOVE what she’s said about these horrible politicains who keep screwing us over. I’ve thought this in the past, by the way. We need to keep turning them into one-termers until they’re responsive to the American people instead of their billionaire buddies. No matter what your poltical affiliation is, we need to make sure incumbents can’t survive, even if it means voting across party lines. Elon Musk will get loads of criticism for what he’s doing, but there’s an opportunity here to shake up the system. I don’t want to hear about the drugs. I want to hear that Orange Clown is losing control.
Let’s take a deeper dive. It’s been less than a week since the America party has come into the public consciousness. Tesla has lost $68 billion in value. Shareholders apparently don’t want Elon Musk jumping back into politics. He voted for Joe Biden in 2020, by the way. I’m pretty sure he told Tucker Carlson this when Tucker started podcasting on X. It’s not like he’s been a right-winger his whole life. The America party says they want to represent the 80% of everyone in the middle. Here’s what else they’re all about:
— Reduce debt, responsible spending only
— Modernize military with AI/ robotics
— Pro tech, accelerate to win in AI
— Less regulation across the board, but especially with energy
— Free speech
— Pro natalist
— Centrist policies everywhere else
I got this information from a Kim Iversen video. She had reservations about “modernize military with AI/ robotics”. My personal issue was “pro natalist”. JD Vance is one of these guys as well. Remember him talking about lonely cat ladies? My issue is that a good deal of right-wingers are fundamental Biblical literalists. If there’s a passage in the Bible that says “be fruitful and multiply”, they think it applies for all people, for all time. There was a time when humanity had to deal with wild animals on a regular basis. At the time that Jesus lived, there were a few million humans. Lions and tigers were still a problem. You could get eaten by bears. The forests were untamed, and it was a great idea to explode human population. I’ve studied Thomas Malthus, though, and there’s such thing as a carrying capacity. I had one idiot tell me that the entire world population could fit in Texas if its density was the same as New York City. You’re missing the point. Donald Trump thinks he’s a genius in economics, but he’s really a backwards-ass dipshit. There are people like him, Mitt Romney, and others who think that entire economies are run by interest rates. Economics always must consider tangible things like physical resources. If there were ten of us starting humanity all over again on a deserted island which had a hundred banana trees, we would be fine at the beginning. As we start having children, and as we start cutting down trees to use for housing, we are going to experience the Malthusian Catastrophe. What happens when there are thousand of us people, and there are ten trees left? If I had to advise Musk, pump the brakes on the “pro natalist” thing. You had fourteen children, and that works for you, but many of out here are fine and mindful of the carrying capacity issue.
So it’s been reported that Tesla lost $68 billion these past few days. That is more than double the value of Fox News. That’s about seven percent of Tesla’s value. It doesn’t make Musk flinch, but with that said, he needs to buy Fox News for the America party to work. Right now, Trump lies more often than Pinocchio, but Fox will echo these lies. Also, the America party has to be more than an instrument of revenge. I realize I listed a few things we can expect, but it means nothing if the public believes all of it is done purely to defeat and humiliate Trump. George Washington was not a fan of political parties. There were many, many political parties in America’s early years. Washington was a Freemason, and so was Benjamin Franklin. Over the decades, the Freemasons acquired a bad reputation. There was actually an Anti-Masonic party formed, and William Wirt was its 1832 presidential candidate. This is not ideal, though. I know it sounds hypocritical from a guy writing for Never Trump Blog. Our website is founded on what we DON’T want. I have personal beliefs, though. The other mods have personal beliefs. We differ in that regard, but we’re united in our oppostition to Trump. However, Herbert Marcuse would tell you that this period of negation is inevitably followed by a period of affirmation. The America party can be this thing if it’s done right.
One of the things that keeps me going is humor. Right now, I’m thinking about an episode of the Simpsons. At some point, Bart and Homer are at odds with each other. Bart gets a Big Brother from an agency. It gets Homer jealous, so he goes to the agency to get a Little Brother. While being interviewed, Homer is asked for his motivations. In his mind, he’s saying, “Don’t say revenge! Don’t say revenge!” But then he blurts it out. He’s doing it for revenge. I’ve believed in third parties for a long, long time. It’s true, there’s an element of revenge to this America party movement, but it still has merit. People are sick of politics as usual. Trump hated the Establishment, then he became the Establishment way worse than Jeb Bush would’ve ever been. Elon Musk is the Outsider right now. I’ll give him a shot, and when he becomes the crazy cowboy Bully, we’ll put him in his place. How’s that for a proposition?

Open Letter to Elon,
Hello! My name is Space Ghost and I’m a moderator at a conspiracy website known as Maniac Nebula.
The group I belong to has a diverse set of political beliefs. Last year, our site operator, Demented, tasked us with making a case for presidential candidates. Captain Grifter backed Joe Biden. He’s an English teacher in Florida, and this was before Kamala Harris became the Democrat candidate. Grumpy Old Man backed backed Donald Trump. He’s a staunch, straight-ticket Republican. Bone Face doesn’t believe in voting, and he backed no one. Me? Of all the moderators, I’m the most third-party of the group. Last year, I backed RFK Jr before he joined the MAGA movement. I’ve had years to contemplate this, though, so I’m creating a page to give my advice and my vantage point…

the Basics…

If you are serious about having an impact as a third party, you must have television media behind you. At the very least, there needs to be no less than one major network who buys in, and who believes. Ross Perot was a regular guest on CNN’s Larry King show in the nineties. You are worth more than $300 million, Fox News is worth around $25 billion, and this ought to be an easy acquisition, even if you have to pay double what it’s valued on the surface. You can kill two birds with one stone. You can get them to stop puffing up Trump, and you can get them to transition to your message of a more intelligent energy future. If Laura Ingraham, Jesse Watters, and Sean Hannity don’t like it, they can hit the road. They can join Megyn Kelly and Tucker Carlson as podcasters. Plus, you already have X/ Twitter …
the America party…
The America party sounds nice and dandy, but do your due diligence. There is no sense in reinventing the wheel. When you launched Tesla as a car company, it was just a bunch of tech guys with a whole lot of determination. In retrospect, there were a few “traditional minds” who could’ve helped avoid certain trial-and-error growing pains. Teddy Roosevelt launched the Bull Moose party, and had success even though he didn’t regain the presidency. Ross Perot got 19% of the vote in 1992. By 1996, the Reform party was in business. By 2000, Donald Trump, Pat Buchanan, Cybill Sheppard, John Hegelin, Jesse Ventura, Ron Paul, and others sought to be its nominee. In 2020, Andrew Yang launched the Forward party. In 2024, Joe Lieberman started No Labels before he tragically died. The bottom line is that other people have tried this. Perhaps a few of them can be useful. There are also members of the Libertarian and Green parties. They can probably help with logistics and organization…
After the Due Diligence…
Americans are sick of traditional politics. Ralph Nader of the Green Party called it a duopoly. He compared Democrats and Republicans to Tweedledee and Tweedledum. Jesse Ventura called them the Democrips and Rebloodlicans, an allusion to Crips and Bloods as gang members. If the America party is to have success, it must be built with balance. There are disenfranchized politicians on the right, and on the left. Trump has thrown many people under the bus. Reach out to Mitt Romney and Chris Christie. There are strong, independent people on the left. Bernie Sanders could give this independent movement clout. These people have varying philosophies and economic stances, but that’s what a democracy is all about. I tell the public my ideas, you tell them yours, then we let the public vote on who they want. Wouldn’t it be refreshing to have a presidential ticket with candidates who originally came from different political parties, still united by respect for one another and country? Ronald Reagan and Tip O’ Neill respected each other. We don’t need to continue the days where secluded think tanks create policy, the policies are handed over to a ranting dictator, then everyone must stand in line and is afraid to dissent. We can do better than this! We need to reward the courage of Thom Tillis! No matter what your politics are, he deserves a better choice on how his exit from Congress will be. The America party could take a stand, and he could be its first success story! If he runs and wins in the midterms, the sky is the limit for the America party in the 2028 presidential race …
